Is it a good place to live? Whats the weather like? Is there a lot to do? Im from California and im looking for a place to live thats fun but still slower paced!
Answer:
It is an easier life in Oregon than California. It is very different from Southern California and a tiny like the North coast of California. Some towns are for young people and families like Portland and other towns have more retired people like Roseburg. It rains most of the time but not always a lot of snow. The sun is out during the summer. People are concerned about the environment there. The whole say has only 3 million people. The government is very liberal politically. There is no sales tax but they’ve county income tax. What kind of things do you want to know? There are towns on the coast which is cold and windy all the time. Portland is the largest town and Spokane is in eastern Oregon, more conservative. Eugene is where the Univ of Oregon is. Ashland is a nice small town in southern Oregon where the shakespeare festival is held. People are very helpful and polite. The only drivers who give the finger are from Los Angeles. Oregonians dont even honk.
Answer:
The only thing I know about it is it's got a completely dorky airport.
